Next Generation Learning Charter

The Next Generation Learning Charter was launched in January 2009 and offered schools the opportunity to make a public commitment to providing better learning opportunities through the effective use of technology. Unfortunately, due to the reduction in funding announced by the government, Becta have decided to discontinue the Charter.

All schools have the potential to raise standards, improve results and engage pupils with technology. We recommend that schools continue to use the self-review framework and work towards the ICT Mark accreditation.
