We asked schools a range of questions about their current main suppliers of desktop and portable computers for curriculum use.

Each school in the survey has told us about one supplier of desktop and one supplier of portable computers; or a single supplier if the school has the same current main supplier for both portables and desktops.

Four suppliers feature in the results. These are listed below:

Dell (http://www.dell.co.uk)
RM (http://www.rm.com)
Tiny (http://www.tiny.com/uk)
Viglen (http://www.viglen.co.uk)

Schools were most satisfied with their computer suppliers' product knowledge. They were least satisfied with suppliers' responsiveness; although this was closely followed by relatively low satisfaction with the technical support provided by their computer suppliers.

Schools showed the greatest differentiation between suppliers when saying how likely they would be to recommend their supplier to another school. Schools showed the least differentiation between suppliers when rating their satisfaction with the ease with which suppliers could be contacted.
