Background

During autumn 2001 Becta conducted a pilot survey of schools in England investigating their satisfaction with their ICT products, services and suppliers. The results were published in January 2002.

The Department for Education and Skills has now commissioned Becta to conduct a customer satisfaction survey of ICT in schools in England for three years, beginning in 2002. The survey is called the performance indICaTor.
