The Next Generation Learning Awards will reward all types of learning provider in the FE and Skills sector and seek to identify those across the whole system who are fully confident in the use of technology.

Becta works in partnership with BESA and EMAP on the BETT Awards, which reward innovative technological products and services that are proving to be effective in the education sector.

The ICT Excellence Awards is an award scheme for schools, which aims to identify and reward whole school excellence in ICT.

The 2008 ICT Excellence Awards are now closed for entries.

Winners of the 2008 awards will be announced in November 2008.

The 21st Century Learning Alliance was founded to ensure that learning communities of all kinds have the best chance possible to prepare young people for the various challenges they will face in the future.

The 21st Century Learning Alliance looks to identify and celebrate the achievements of schools that are excelling in how they approach key areas of their work or environment. Becta is facilitating the awards process on behalf of the 21st Century Learning Alliance.

The Handheld Learning and Innovation Awards were introduced this year to celebrate those practitioners, learners and participants who have excelled in the use of emerging technologies for improved learning and teaching.
